Your company will be exhibiting at Automate 2017, what is it that makes this an important event for your company?

Because the Automate Show focuses solely on Automation, it is an extremely important tradeshow for Epson Robots.   The robotics industry is growing now more than ever, and exhibiting at a show like Automate where the audience is truly interested in the products we manufacture, is ideal to display our lineup, demonstrate features unique to Epson, and build and nurture relationships.

What can a visitor to your booth expect to see this year?

Our booth will feature several of our 6-Axis and SCARA robots including the newly announced Flexion N-Series which features the world’s first folding arm design.  Alongside robots, we will also be displaying our world-class integrated vision guidance, controllers and RC+ software.   

Any new products you will be introducing?

Though it has been introduced before, this will be the first appearance for the Flexion N2 at the Automate Show.  Having recently won the Design News Golden Mousetrap Award in the category of Automation & Control: Motors and Mechanical Motion Devices, the Flexion N2 is making waves in the automation industry due to its revolutionary new design and space efficiency.  Our booth will feature two Flexion N2 robots, so we encourage you to come on by and see it in action.

When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see?

Exhibitors bring their best and brightest technology to tradeshows, so I’m excited to see what’s new and innovative in the world of automation. Walking shows is also a wonderful opportunity to converse with our customers, System Integrators, and manufacturers to discuss the possibility of collaborating on projects moving forward.  

Automate 2017 has over 100 educational sessions, is your company involved in any of them this year?

Though we are not participating in any sessions at the show, throughout the year, we offer training courses at our headquarters in Carson, California.  

When you book a booth for a tradeshow like this what are your expectations and what does your company hope to accomplish at the event?

At tradeshows, our #1 priority is to connect with attendees and see how the Epson lineup may be beneficial to their automation needs.  At every show, we have attendees visit us with not only questions, but also actual physical parts with a desire to automate. We thrive in these situations because helping manufacturers find and build solutions is part of what we love about developing innovative products.
