Eden Prairie, MN August 04, 2015

Hendrix Consulting Group, LLC (http://www.hendrixcg.com), an aerial imaging solutions company, has been granted a Section 333 Exemption and a Certificate of Authorization (COA) for commercial Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operations throughout the United States by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The Section 333 Exemption approval provides operators safe and legal entry into the National Airspace System. The Certificate of Authorization provides clearance by the FAA and the Department of Transportation to a public operator for specific UAS activities. This Exemption and related COA allow Hendrix Consulting Group to operate its commercial Unmanned Aerial Systems for a variety of high level aerial data collection services including videography, photography, mapping, inspections and construction project assessment. Hendrix Consulting Group provides these UAS services to a multitude of business sectors including real estate, construction and land development; utility and critical infrastructure; energy, mining and natural resources; and agriculture enterprises.

Hendrix Consulting Group is comprised of Federal Aviation Administration licensed pilots -- a FAA requirement for nearly all Section 333 UAS commercial aerial operations. Hendrix Consulting Group is one of the few Airline Transport Pilot-owned firms in the United States to meet the stringent requirements of the Section 333 Exemption and receive a COA granted by the FAA to conduct nationwide commercial UAS Aerial Imaging Operations.

Dan Hendrix, Hendrix Consulting Group Founder and CEO states, "We are excited to be among the first companies to receive an Exemption from the FAA to allow for the commercial operation of UAS platforms in the United States. Being an airline pilot myself, I have a thorough understanding of what it means to be at the forefront of professional UAS implementation. Our Team has decades of experience in the aviation and technology sectors -- our unique skillsets provide the discriminating client confidence in making sound decisions for their businesses. We embrace the ownership of this new responsibility and are setting the benchmark for safely executing UAS operations in a way that will benefit our clients and the industry as a whole - now and in the future."

Hendrix Consulting Group is dedicated to providing the safest and most complete solutions for aerial imaging and related projects nationwide.
